This product makes movie making simple for a complete novice like me. I am a grandmother with no technical skills whatsoever. Now, after 4 years of use, I have created hundreds of "muvees" for family and friends to view. Everyone loves watching the movies that I have created. I have even been asked to videotape weddings outside of my family. I work with people that have Alzheimers. They LOVE watching the muvees that I make. It is so easy to put together something that is meaniful and brings a lot of joy for their viewing. One of best things that I appreciate about this product is their Muvee Cloud association that allows for private sharing. I am one that doesn't belong to facebook and I don't use YOUTUBE. Sharing my muvees privately gives me and those I choose to share with great satisfaction. Also, customer service over the years has been fabulous. I have had software questions answered quickly and even remote sessions fixing various computer issues. 5Love it.....

I do not usually write reviews but I love this product...... it did more then expected and I had FUN using it, kinda addicting......I was looking for a way to be different and stand out with our Wedding Slide show and "Reveal" made that happen. Unlike other basic software where they have a limited amount of styles and fixed formats. Sure I could of used Microsoft or DVD maker but then again.....

"Reveal X" is extremely flexible AND USER FRIENDLY ( don't have to be a rocket scientist to uses) It seems like these guys really put thoughts into what users want.

My favorite feature for our wedding slide show was under the "personalize" setting where I was able to add a customized wedding logo that was created by a professional and being able to adjust the transparency on it. Everything we added was adjustable, from the music up to the zoom effect "magicspot". The loading and preview was extremely easy, you can preview anytime without having to go to another window or screen, all of the controls and selections are right there while you are adding pics. And if you have worked on any projects involving photos, we all know that it will be completed overnight....Reveal X allows you to save and pick up right where you left off. The quality of the video was awesome, it allows you save the muvee / movie in many formats. I burned extra copies onto a DVD to play on our TV.

Bottom line is that it did everything I wanted and more....there are still tons of features I have not use.....I already have another project in mind with my baby's pics!!!!!!

Also included is a very easy to use screen capture program, which I used to create this short video review. The learning curve is all about playing around with the program and features, which is what I did in the video. Also included are Facebook and YouTube sharing options.

5Faster, easier than Elements Premiere

This software does most anything an amatuer would like to do with a video, from capturing to output. I have been using Adobe Premiere Elements for a couple years and enjoyed the results but I was constantly struggling. Even with a pretty new desktop, just opening the program would take forever and if I hadn't used it in a few months had re-learn. Corel's Video Studio X6 does everything I need (and lots more) way faster than Premiere and far more intuitive. I especially enjoy time-lapse, and pan and zoom on images and found this powerful and easy. I'm still a huge fan of Lightroom but will avoid Adobe sloware other than that. Don't be afraid if the price seems too low!

5Powerful and Robust for Beginner and Advanced Users

With VideoStudio Pro X6, Corel has once again created an amazing program. It's great for beginning video editors, providing a set of easy to use and understand tools. If you use iMovie or Windows Movie Maker, this is the next logical step in your evolution.
For Intermediate and Advanced users who don't need all the options provided by Adobe Premiere, this is a great program that includes everything needed for professional looking video and disc production without all the overblown (and computer-crashing) options of other programs.
I find it to be perfect for personal projects, such as YouTube videos, making slideshows and burning discs for friends and family.
However, I also use it to edit media that I will later use in Adobe Premiere and After Effects, when I don't need to call out the over-the-top functions of those programs.
It offers a comprehensive suite of transitions, themes and titling options. It also has stuff I've never used (like making 3D movies and stop motion) but it's nice to know they are available if I should want to try them out.
And, of course, it's significantly cheaper than other products; it offers the best bang-for-the-buck on the market.
The documentation is easy to understand and covers everything you might want to do. Plus, there's plenty of online resources to investigate if you don't find your exact answer in the manual.
I highly recommend Corel VideoStudio X6!
