4Download option is only 32 bit and has no soundtracks

I'm a big fan of downloading purchased software vs. waiting for a DVD to arrive, but in this case I wish I had ordered the disc. The download version is only 32 bit, and best I can tell, the 20 music soundtracks that are supposed to come with it are not available with the download option. I believe the box version also comes with 3D glasses as well, but I can't really complain that those weren't downloaded! But when I pay more for the download option, which seems backwards to begin with, and I get less, it's a little frustrating.

The good news is, after installing and registering the 32-bit version, I was able to download the 64-bit version directly from Sony. But I have yet to figure out how to get the 20 music soundtracks that are supposed to come with Movie Studio Platinum 12.

As for the software itself, it's great. It's a 5 star program, but it gets 4 stars on Amazon for the download only containing the 32-bit version and no soundtracks.

1Complete Waste of an Upgrade

I recently upgraded to Movie Studio from 11.0 to 12.0.
I have had nothing but heartache since. 11.0 never gave me any issues so I thought 12 would be worth the buy.
It crashes constantly and I always get the black video rendering error of pain even with all the suggested fixes from forums.
This software has wasted so much of my time. I'm now looking to find another software entirely to move to.

5Coming from the pro version 9, this is a excellent consumer level software.

I am bummed that I am unable to use masks in this product, ( guess I will keep 9pro around a little longer) but the additional tracks to my timeline are very welcome. This is sonys pro level software with a few items locked to show value in the pro line. Incredible for the price.
